Stainless steel fireplace logs
Do androids dream of stainless steel, oil-burning logs in their fireplace?
If so, they get them here.
For $320, you get two 18/10 stainless steel logs with built-in oil lamps.
You put them on the included 10" x 14" slate base, for a "natural feel."
Designed and made in Germany by Carl Mertens.
From the website:
- The table top fireplace is... nothing short of beautiful.
Unlike any other oil lamps around, this faux fireplace creates a focal point and radiates light and warmth for the table top.
The stainless steel logs are sleek and contemporary.

Joe, I love the Videodrone/1984-ish feel to these 'logs'. Not sure if $320 is the right price for me, but if this is what someone would enjoy, more power to them. Not sure about small children and pets around these, but they sure are esthetically pleasing. Keep up the great work Joe, still easily the best and most favorite on the Net! And a Wonderfully Warm and Happy Brand New Year to You!

uhhh, tell me how these are better than a bunch of candles? Or even a 12" saltillo tile + a wok + some actual wood.
