Kershaw Santoku Shun Classic Knife
Using one of these spectacular knives is as close as you will ever get to being a Samurai.
I mean, look at it.
The wavy pattern results from fusing multiple layers of steel into one ultra–sharp blade.
No surprise, really: Kershaw, the Japanese company that makes it, is located in Seki City, the country's sword and blade making center for over 700 years.
The knife has a granton edge (scalloped blade) so food doesn't stick while slicing.
The Kershaw Santoku Shun Classic with 6.5" Scalloped Blade is $119.95 here.
If you're lefthanded order the southpaw version: it's the same price.
