First bookofjoe podcast
It happened Thursday and went up Friday afternoon here.
All thanks and credit go to Dr. Kent Bottles, who invited me to do it and then made it simple enough for yours truly to succeed first time out.
Here's how it went down:
1) At 3 p.m. Thursday I phoned an 800 number Kent gave me and then entered an access code he'd provided.
2) Voila, there was Kent on the other end of the phone.
3) He introduced me, asked a question and off I went.
It was lots of fun — at least, from my end.
Hope you like it but hey, if not, the usual "no questions asked" refund policy applies: all your money cheerfully refunded.

After listening to the interview, sounds more like David Brenner to me...

Joe,
Podcast was interesting - although I think that Al Franken is much more nasal than you are.
I love the fact that you, as a physician, said out loud "it's about the money" when speaking about the lack of new primary care docs in the U.S. I got a dirty look from the PT doc my mother works for when I asked him "if it's not about money, why do you bill $X for a session?"
I must say it is nice to know that we, your readership, are entertaining. ;)
I bid you peace, Joe

Maybe it was the production or the phone line. I thought they both sounded a bit like one another... and, point well taken, like Al Franken.

When I get my speakers working properly, I'll have to check it out!

Now there's a morph I hadn't considered, Joey into Al Franken. Yeah, I can see it.

The Good News: You sound as full of enthusiasm, intelligence and wit (that's WIT) as your blog reads.
The Bad News: In vocal production only, you sound a bit like Al Franken.
