Radiator–Seat

Designer Mareike Gast writes, "Who does not like sitting on the warm radiator in the winter?"

She's created a radiator–seat intended for schools (below).

Tell you what: maybe in Germany that's true but I'd trust and verify before sitting down on one of these in the U.S.

I don't know. Looks kinda uncomfortable, but then you probably wouldn't be encouraging school kids to sit around on them for long. Maybe that's the idea.

The fun part would be collecting the change that falls through the bars out of people's pockets.

Still, probably wouldn't pass the cat test. Drape a dozen or so cats on the seats. If they stay there longer than 5 minutes, you're in business.
