BehindTheMedspeak: wrongplanet.net — Asperger's syndrome online community

Titlbbelogo

Alexander Plank is a 19–year–old freshman at George Mason University in Fairfax,Virginia.

He has Asperger's syndrome and for as long as he can remember has felt as if he's living on the wrong planet.

This past June he co–founded wrongplanet.net, a website designed to provide a meeting place for people with Asperger's.

There are now some 3,000 members registered in the wrongplanet community, from countries all over the world.

Worth a visit if you have Asperger's or any of the syndrome's traits, such as difficulty making eye contact or small talk.

Also most helpful if you've a family member or friend with Asperger's — see what the world looks and sounds and feels like from their perspective.
