Panic Mouse
Great name, what?
From the website:
- Mouse Toy Provides Hours Of Entertainment For Your Cat
This wacky mouse has a flexible "tail" that moves in random patterns, stimulating hunting instincts and keeping frisky felines guessing where it will go next.
Adjustable height, speed and catnip-filled tassel add to the excitement.
I don't know about that claim of "hours of entertainment", though โ it seems to me that most cats not on sedatives or tranquilizers would make mincemeat of this toy within a few minutes.
Requires three AA batteries (not included).
$24.95 here.
Great picture, too.

OK, I don't know if this is entertaining for cats, but it enterained me for about two hours (and the kitten was just along for the ride).

I came down to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to visit with my parents on Wednesday, and the first night I got here, they already had dinner plans for all of us at someone else's house. So this cat toy saved me from hours of complete boredom. It's highly recommended - from a human point of view anyway. ;)

My cats HATED and FEARED this toy. The motor is really loud.

I would love to know what the feline peeking out from under the furniture did right after the picture was taken. Mine would never let itself be "entertained" by some stupid machine. She demands that I provide excitement, and that is almost impossible since she's ten times smarter. But then she programs all the electronic stuff so I guess we're even.
