BehindTheJewelrySpeak: Serotonin Necklace and Dopamine Earrings
What's he been drinking, anyway?
Kool–Aid, just like always — you know how predictable I am.
Enough banter, let's get to something of substance.
From the website:
- Molecular Jewelry
Start a conversation with this clever jewelry fashioned from the shapes of a few rather important molecules.
Serotonin, a chemical responsible for happiness and relaxation, has an elegant shape that makes for a terrific necklace that’ll make you grin as much as the chemical it represents.
And the dopamine earrings represent passion and pleasure with splendid scientific flair.
Sterling silver.
The necklace is $95 and the earrings $45 here.

I get the biggest kick out of these wacky earrings you come up with. And it bugs me that I never had my ears pierced and don't wear earrings at all because they make my ears itch, and so I won't be sporting any of these cool creations. (However. What I lose in earring I make up for in necklace.)
Anyway, these I REALLY like. But I'm gonna hold out for the methane version, ha ha. (I'm not too great at chemistry - isn't that the C with the four H's bonded top, bottom & sides?) Bring it on!
