I've been thinking a lot about Trevor Butterworth's article on blogs

The one I featured on February 21.
Because I must say that some days I am not in what you might call my usual state of good cheer as I shape and form bookofjoe out of whole cloth.
It doesn't happen often but when it does the whole thing just seems silly.
I press through my malaise and doubt and gradually the sense of uselessness and wasted effort ebbs.
But I can see how one day that feeling might not fade away but, rather, persist, to the point that bookofjoe just stops.
Poof.
Sometimes I feel like one of those auto racing fans who go for the crashes — except it's my crash and burn.
This isn't a threat, nor is it a foreshadowing (at least I don't think so) of things to come.
Just me thinking out loud.
I mean, I think I'm allowed to do that here... aren't I?

The miracles of my life have come by surprise and fill me with a rush of emotions.
bookofjoe is one such.
I savor it each day.
Trying to enjoy it's moment is a hard task for me, of any miracle.
Thank you Joe - with no strings attached.

Yeah, I can always see the end in the beginning. I know you're kind of contrary, because you've said so in your blog, and if someone said, oh dear, what blog that's worth a flying **** would I haunt and heckle and make ridiculous & fatuous comments on?, it could add to the end side instead of the continue side, so maybe someone won't make such a comment.
Still... Useless? Wasted? You could go ahead and call music useless, too. I mean after all, it doesn't really DO anything but make a lot of noise, when you get down to it. But it's so much fun!
Well, I suppose I could just settle for eating at the Book Of Joe Chinese Restaurant. You better have some good House Special Fried Rice, is all I can say.

Hi,
I'm sorry if I bummed you out about blogging - but really, my article was not directed at the hobby-bloggers. If you enjoy writing it, stick with it.
Best -
Trevor
