Technical Shish Kebab Skewers — Episode 2: The Curve

359190_4472aahh

Just two days ago here I brought you what might be the world's most technical shish kebab skewer.

Now comes a much lower tech but perhaps even more useful variation on a theme.

From the website:

    Curved Shish Kebab Skewers

Now your grilled and broiled kebabs can fit perfectly on your barbecue plates with these curved steel skewers.

The 15" long skewers curl into an 8"-diam. arc.

Interesting, isn't it, how this era is shaping up as that of the curve, what with things long straight suddenly bending?

Next thing you know someone will bring out a curved shower rod to increase your washing space and minimize "blow-in."

Hey — wait a

Oooohhh, when I saw that top picture, I thought they were cute little shish kebab earrings. Wonderful to wear to barbecues & summertime whatnots. Too bad.

So now everything straight is curved again? Well, a curved conductor's baton could lend itself to more frightening singling out of any musician who suddenly decided his part was a solo (especially if maybe there was a little neon orange arrow on the tip). And why not (been thinking about this for a while, now) a toothbrush that can be bent to fit the curvature of your teeth in your head, and it has both inner & outer brush surfaces on it, and there's a handle that comes down that you hold sort of like if you were holding a lorgnette, or a Venetian mask, kind of a thing, and you'd just self- agitate it in a kind of small circle, hitting all inner and outer surfaces at once. Or - an electric version of same. Made to order for your own personal mouth. You'd set your teeth into a couple of those things like boxers use when they fight, (they'd be lined with brushes, natch), add paste, turn the sucker on to the polishing strength of your choice, and Bingo! clean teeth. Maybe. Okay, it needs work. Volunteers?
