MorphWorld: Billy Packer into Hubie Brown

For the past week I've been watching — actually, listening more than watching as I'm creating bookofjoe on the treadmill while the games are on — Miami v Detroit in the NBA Eastern Conference finals.

At first I wondered how come Billy Packer (below)

is doing pro basketball all of a sudden but sometime during the second game of the series I realized that it wasn't Packer but, rather, Hubie Brown (top) doing the analysis.

It's uncanny how similar the two men's voices are, though that's where the resemblance ends: Brown is pleasant rather than grating/whining, he knows the game much better than Packer, and he's just a more informative announcer.

Hubie rocks.
