Eddie Money's 'Walk on Water'

I just found out where this great song's chorus came from: this song.

Doh!

I was out running, listening to Eddie Money's greatest hits album, "Sound of Money" (above) when track 6 came on.

Finally.

After all these years.

Who knew?

Like probably 99% of the people who buy this CD, I did so to hear the megahit "Take Me Home Tonight (Be My Baby), perhaps the first great mashup ever.

Ronnie (Veronica Bennett — aka Ronnie Spector, then-wife of Phil) of

Ronettes

"The Ronettes" chimes in with her ineffable voice and the song just explodes into your — well, at least my — brain.

There are a lot of other really good songs (below)

"Two Tickets to Paradise"... oh, yeah.
