It's just hot as blazes here and I can't stay on topic, or even follow it. So what else is new. This word incandescent, it makes me think of all the times I've read about this or that actress's "incandescent" performance in such and such play/movie: Louise Brooks's incandescent portrayal...Greta Garbo gave an absolutely incandescent performance...Katherine/Audrey Hepburn was incandescent...Vanessa Redgrave glowed incandescently... After a while it sounds kind of meaningless. Maybe it's time to switch?...Madonna gave a fluorescent performance...J-Lo was positively bioluminescent...Paris Hilton was utterly opalescent... Nah. Paris would be bioluminescent, I'm sure of it.
Heat's got me, I'm telling ya.
