Don't know what you call them over your side of the pond, but balls of fat mixed with seeds and stuff for wild birds are called Fat Balls - which is what I read that as. Reminds me of the day I had my vasectomy and everywhere I went were signs in shop windows advertising Fat Balls. Or so it seemed.

Tacky. cheesy jest, I realize. And I wish I'd thought of it. I heard that version of it on an episode of "Blackadder" - the "Blackadder Goes Forth" set. (Anyone not familiar with Rowan Atkinson's above named series should arrange to view it immediately -- it's always funny, often brilliant.)

Interesting. I've got to admire your balls.
I know, I know -- perhaps later.
