StopLost — Never again leave something important behind
From the website:
- Mini Reminder™
Never again leave your wallet, keys, cell phone or other valuables behind
Do you somehow always manage to misplace, lose or leave behind everything from an umbrella to your wallet?
Or have you had your purse stolen in a store or restaurant?
You're not alone.
Before you lose one more thing, try the Mini Reminder™.
This compact, two-piece transmitter/receiver system can be attached to cell phones, MP3 players, laptop computers, purses, briefcases or other valuables.
When you become separated from your belongings by 10 or 25 feet (you set the range), Mini Reminder [the transmitter is shown above, the receiver below] alerts you with vibrations and beeps.
It's a small price to pay for big dividends, including peace of mind.
Use it to monitor pets and children too.
Receiver requires one AAA battery (included).
"Mini Reminder"?
What were they thinking?
A dumb, uninformative and boring name for a really nifty product.
Whoever created it (the name — not the product, booboo) needs to sign up for the 2006 bookofjoe Naming and Branding Seminar™.
Hold on a sec — let me check to see if there are still openings... yeah, I can take two more people.
As if.

And, of course, there is also the equally poorly named Mini Reminder Reminder, so you won't forget to attach the thing to your cell phone, MP3 player, laptop, wallet, cat, and the Mini Reminder Reminder Reminder so you won't forget to attach the thing that alerts you to remember to attach the thing that alerts you....
