Wow. Got a feeling I'm not in Kansas, Toto. I have looked and looked at those pictures and...wow. The third from the bottom is my favorite. It looks positively Piranesian -- monumental, massive, engraving-like. No, wait, I've got it: It's apocalyptic-deco, like a John Martin/Gotham mashup.
