I finally heard this saying just the other day. Living in the south and hearing all kinds of sayings well this one just stuck. I LIKED IT...=)) Because I like buttered biscuits...shhhh we won't tell anyone that either. oh with alittle honey on the side..mmmm mmmm nice and warm even... melted butter...can you tell I am ready for something? Breakfast maybe?? Or better yet lunch since I breakfast was about 5 hours ago!!
Let's bring out the butter, biscuits. Honey too....=))

Well. I'm honored.
Although, my actual welcome mat at my actual house has said "Happy Halloween" (with dancing skeletons, witch on a broom, and black cat with glow-in-the-dark eyes) for the past three years, twelve months a year. It's always interesting to see the looks it gets in the middle of July.
