Time Magazine Archives Now Open — Free

Who says old media can't dance?

Yesterday I noticed, buried deep in a September 6 New York Times story by John Markoff about the new Google News Archive, his aside that Time magazine last month made its entire archive — all 4,300 issues and 300,000 articles dating back to 1923 — available free on its website.

Timetime

Fair warning: visiting may well distract you such that nothing else gets done today.

Probably no one will know the difference.

And even if they do, they won't care.
