What happens if you put something in there that it doesn't like? A piece of cookie or something? And how does it close up before the fly splits -- is there glue on the inside surface to hold it there?

I realize I can Google it and find out more about meat-eating plants than I ever wanted to know...I'm just goofing off. And enjoying my new cough syrup, since I'm sick and all. And speaking of flies -- a favorite line that I remember from "Sandford and Son" was when Fred had a fly buzzing around in the house, Lamont walks into the room, Fred says, "Lamont, open the door and let that fly out. He hasn't been out all day."
