Keychain Digital Camera
I never have a camera with me when I see something I'd like to photograph and use here.
Sure, my cellphone (a Nokia 6230, purchased in the dark ages) has a camera — but it's not even close to usable by a TechnoDolt™.
So I got all excited when I espied this nifty piece of kit.
From the website:
- Digital Camera Keychain
This mini camera keychain captures the moment in brilliant color — anywhere, anytime.
Take pictures wherever you are — our camera keychain is always on hand for any photo opportunity.
Two resolution settings (640 x 480 and 320 x 240) allow for 26 print-quality or 104 email-quality photos.
Also takes short video clips and has the capability for video editing and conferencing via a PC.
• Download photos directly to your computer
• Includes USB cable and editing software
• Features built-in 16MB flash memory
• Camera measures 3" x 1.5" x 0.9"
All that's the good news.
The bad news is it's for PC only — Mac people like myself can kindly take a hike.
Rats.
$50.

Of course, PC only probably just means the fancy (useless) software. If it's a USB device the chances are it works like everything else and just appears as an external drive. In which case, Mac users should be fine.
