Litter Box Landing Pad — Feline Red Carpet Equivalent?
From the website:
- Track Mat™
For all those fastidious cats that don't like litter on their paws, and those cat "people" who don't like litter on the floor, this clever "soft touch" grid mat is the answer.
It traps kitty litter as the cat walks on it, and then you lift out the grid, empty the litter, and replace the grid.
So simple — and clean!
18"L x 13"W x 1"H.
Humphrey's gonna turn cartwheels when I put this out, just you wait and see....

I have this and it works. I only wish they made one that surrounds the entire box. My kitten likes to kick litter far and wide, so the only thing that has worked since she joined us is the Clever Cat box.

When you put this thing out in front of the box, whatever you do, don't let the cat see you do it, and don't do it with any pomp or flourish anywhere NEAR the cat. If it suspects that you expect it to actually walk on the mat upon exiting, the cat will either detour around or leap (gracefully, of course) directly over the offending pad.
Giant-footed cats get all kinds of granules stuck in their treads and will traipse litter all over the house, it's true. I say, get out the broom and the Hoover. Maybe one feline in ten will cooperate. Don't hold your breath.

Seriously need to get this...I've had to devote an entire room to being the Cat Box Room because otherwise the litter is all over the place.
