SmudgeGuard Nation — Do birds of a feather flock together?

Jhjhlkjjkhjk

You may recall a recent post featuring the SmudgeGuard (above and below), a solution to artists' and left-handed writers' woes.

I happened on the journal page of the device's inventor, one Jeannie Lit (below),

Nhoijpoijpij

and noted with interest that as of her journal post of this morning, some 39 websites (including bookofjoe) had featured her product.

What interested me was that a number of those 39 were previously completely unknown to me.

Sure, Gizmodo and Cool Tools and Shiny Shiny were among them but it's those unknowns that piqued my interest, so much so that I spent several most delightful hours poking around them to see what else we had in common — and what I could find that would never otherwise have come to my attention.

I used to simply buy the cheap white cotton gloves Kodak sold at most photo stores and cut the thumb and index fingers off.
Retouching photos with a 00 brush would leave smudges on the glossy paper from your palm without some form of protection.

Hi, Joe. I just emailed this comment to her:
I am a retired teacher. My fourth grade students were sharing their posters they had made on Codes and Languages. One student shared his on Braille, and apologized for the smudges, saying he was left handed, and that was a usual problem for lefties. The next student shared his poster on the Arabic Language. He explained that their writing was done from right to left. With that, the first student hit his forehead and exclaimed, "Why wasn't I born an Arab?!!!!" Too bad I'm not in contact with him anymore. I saw your device on Book of Joe. I could aim him in your direction!
