been there.
it's called the Crash-O-Rama, and it's so much beer-drenched, sun-soaked fun that at the end of it all i was passed out in the backseat of our car before the keys were even in the ignition. the most out of hand event in the entire day is actually the preliminary festivities where one or two of those buses (windows smashed out and engines torqued up) line up in front of the bleachers full of fans and kids can go down and get on board. then these buses SCREAM around the track with all of the kids waving to their parents from inside. it's beautiful. consummately reckless and frightening, but American through and through.
