If it's so all-fired important that your hair appear pleasingly arranged upon awakening, then sleep with your head hanging off the end of the bed. Or sleep sitting upright. Or surreptitiously slap on an expertly coiffed wig before anybody gets a chance to get a look at you.
Which reminds me of a scene in "Sanford and Son" when Esther was complaining about wanting to ride in a convertible so the wind could blow through her hair and Fred said, well if you want the wind to blow through your hair so bad just take take off your wig and hold it out the window.
