Alexander McQueen makes the Wall Street Journal

To be specific, his line of luggage for Samsonite, attempting to go upmarket by buying famous names.
Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan's August 17, 2007 story about the company noted his "... edgy designs, such as a $750 suitcase on wheels [top] designed to look like a human rib cage."
I thought these suitcases were fabulous when I initially learned of them this past spring — and I said so on March 27, 2007.
I'll take mine in white, thank you very much.
A hat tip to my crack research team for the early sighting.
