BTW -- another interesting bit about this s-p-a-m filter is that s-u-c-k-s is enough to considered the post -s-p-a-m- . Just love technology!

Bongo head made out of x-ray film? Never heard of that! I looked it up, and one of the sites mentioned this was the material of preference in Cuba due to the ease of access.
Always good to learn something new Flootist! My bongos are quite dead right now (I guess there is a reason everyone uses synthetics these days) and I was playing my congas earlier today trying to get motivated to do ANYTHING -- the flu s-u-c-k-s -- and wishing I had the little guys to drag over to the couch under my blankets. I'll have to see if I can snag some off of someone...

Whoops. Misread. It says these are printed on "durable plastic," whatever that means. I incorrectly assumed it was X-ray film.

Not everyone has health insurance, so if you reeeeaaaaally want to get out of work, this might be a heck of a lot cheaper than faking an ER visit!
