Hi Joe!

I just found your blog today through a friend and had to laugh when I looked at the "About Me" page. My husband is a resident anesthesiologist named Joe and he blogs as well. In fact, we both do. But the blog we share together is one about hot & spicy foods (listed in signature below). Seeing as how you like BBQ and Vietnamese food (two of our absolute faves), I think you might find it interesting.

I'm giving serious thought to changing my billing to "One of the world's two most popular blogging anesthesiologists named Joe."

Whad'ya think?

I mean, if you can name a boy Sue you can most certainly name an anesthesiologist Joe.

At least two families did.

But it occurs to me that just because I want to ride Joe Levinson's coattails doesn't mean he wants to have anything to do with me.

I mean, he's probably a pretty bright guy.

If he's anything like me — and that's already been demonstrated, at least to some extent — he'd have absolutely zero interest in attending any party he might be invited to.

Nobody goes there anymore, as Yogi Berra said — it's too crowded.

Wait a minute, I'm getting confused.

Why are we not surprised?
