Bamboo Steamers — Think outside the dumpling space
Though they're sold on a cooking supplies website, these elegant containers offer potential far outside the kitchen space, as soft-spoken desktop containers and similar vessels of boundary.
From the CookingEnthusiast.com website:
- Bamboo Two-Tier Steamer Set — 3 Pieces [above]
A healthy alternative, steaming allows foods to retain more of their natural flavor, vitamins and texture.
These bamboo cookers are the best way to steam, as excess moisture does not end up back on your food while steaming.
Their slatted bottoms allow steam to move freely within the cooking areas.
Steam different foods at the same time.
10" diameter, 6" high.
and:
- Bamboo Dumpling Steamer Set [below]
These 4" diameter bamboo steamers are perfect for steaming dumplings and dim sum, then serving them in style.
Set of two: $14.99.

I've had those lovely chinese pancakes served out of these bamboo steamers. They would be an interesting desktop container; nice idea.
