BehindTheMedspeak: Is your doctor on the take from Big Pharma?

Subhead_rt

Find out here.

I got all excited, thinking maybe my name would come up with an affiliation I didn't know about — alas, no.

Oh, well.

Maybe next year.

Hmmm...I wonder if I could find anyone in Indy that wasn't 'on the take'.

Hell, I don't even do medical research and Eli Lilly has funded some of my work over the years.

Personally, I'd be more upset if my doctors weren't using every available resource at their hand...I know no one has ever vetted my research from the effects of alcohol on a middle aged student, to the ability to make a middle age man attractive to in-coming students. Oh wait, I had a meeting with one of the Vice Presidents a few years back who needed to be taught these techniques so that he could make certain science was being handled correctly (and trust me, the previous study was only confirming the obvious as I've never had a meeting with any of these guys without being forced to drink far more than even I am comfortable doing).
