Vitamin C. For dogs. What bollocks.

The fact that simians cannot synthesise our own vitamin C makes us quite rare in the animal kingdom. Almost everything else, most definitely including dogs, can make its own vitamin C from glucose in the liver and does not need to eat it, unless some grave illness has prevented this synthesis.

Vitamins A and E are useful for dogs, but there really ought to be more than enough of both in their food. Particularly vitamin E, which is hard to avoid in any meat you care to name.

Which leaves... green tea.

Dip a tea bag in the dog's water bowl (the 20-odd milligrams of caffeine in a green tea bag shouldn't be any significant risk for even a tiny dog) and see if you notice a big difference.

Besides the dog drinking out of the toilet more often.

I need these more than the dog.

Hell, I'd have to wake him up to give it to him. Waking him up is probably the most stress he has during the day.
