I reckon an old fashioned tantalus would be nicer. Takes several bottles /and/ you can put your own padlock on it.

It doesn't take much effort to defeat a three-wheel suitcase lock like this - I figured it out when I was, I don't know, eight or something. The wheels that aren't on the right number wiggle when you try to operate the lock.

And as for keeping "the help" out of the booze, this reminds me of the hilarious upper-class practice of labelling decanters with the name of the beverage backwards, on the grounds that those Below Stairs could not possibly figure out what "yeksihw" or "nig" were.

It has been observed by numerous people, notably including Terry Pratchett, that servants thus slighted were not necessarily above drinking some of the booze and then topping up the bottle with eniru.
