Subtle advance notice of a new Apple laptop?

Bookofjoe_rools

Read the above (just in 22 minutes ago) and decide for yourself.

But it's hard to believe WaterField Designs could ship a new custom case for it 72 hours after it's announced by Steve Jobs tomorrow at Macworld unless Apple had already sent the specs to make them in advance.

How do you spell "WiMax?"

Nah - the thing is just a wedge.

However, the combination 802.11n wireless base-station and 1 Terabyte drive for $499 is a damn good thing.

The virtual hard drive model of the new laptop (non-volatile RAM) is interesting as is the use of LEDs for screen backlighting rather than Electroluminescent panels. The Ram-disk version ought to be really quiet and have great battery life.

Does this mean that I get to give up my OVERSIZED 12" G4 for something with a virtual screen attached to my glasses and a virtual keyboard? http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/input/8193/

The new computer is iPod sized with WIFI, bluetooth a virtual screen, virtual keyboard and all of it weighs less than a 5th Gen iPod has a 12 hour battery and costs what a Mini costs?

Well, a guy can dream....
