'The best web-retail site I've ever seen'
So wrote Ray Earhart in an email this past Sunday about the website of Hema, a Dutch company.
He continued, "I don't know how practical this is, but what an intro. I want a storefront like that!"
It reminds me of those great Honda TV ads from a couple years ago where one thing led to another in a similar dynamic fashion.

I went to a HEMA store when I was in Rotterdam visiting friends... great selection of products and they focus mainly (if not entirely) on Dutch products. Got lots of chocolate and bath supplies - not too expensive (at the time), though with the Euro beating the dollar day in and day out I'll bet it's more expensive nowadays...

Quite ingenious. I actually watched it twice AND it made me pay attention to the items. There will be many copycats. The music was a tad annoying but the real question is where is Hema? This is the storefront but where is the store? I googled it and it brings something else up entirely. Couldn't find it even cutting back on the original address.
