Breaking news: French Spider-Man Alain Robert scales 495-foot-tall Edificio Italia building in São Paulo — bare-handed and without safety equipment
After being prevented from making an attempt this past Sunday, he tried again yesterday and made it all the way to the top of the 46-story building.
The video up top records part of his successful ascent.

It's the Edificio Italia building in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

There's a mistake! Sao Paulo is in Brazil not in Italy!

That piece is only interesting because of the exposure. If any of that lattice were damaged or defective he would have to down-climb the whole route.
This was in vogue 20 years ago - prosecution for trespass to the outside of the building was the mechanism that cut way back on these ascents.
