Wow.
$383 per sq foot.
Plus land and electric hookup. No heating or cooling.
For that $45k price, I could build a nice 25x25 square foot workshop - and fill it up with toys.
Why is it all "affordable" modular homes are only cheaper than stick built if you live in Malibu?

I've been looking for something like this in my backyard. I wonder how much it would be to build from scratch.
Hmmm...I wonder how much it would cost my architect into creating some plans...then again, I think he owes me right now (or at least doesn't remember what I owe him...I'll just tell him I paid his girlfriend back and she needed a little extra!)
I have been building a tiny room inside a room for some vocal work (or just cranking up the guitar amp without the neighborhood crackheads hearing that I might have something of value inside)...probably wouldn't be TOO much extra work with the exception of the steel frame. Probably build a little extra for the security doors to go down anytime I'm not in there lest it turns into a clean place to shoot-up...hmmm...I think I found a summer project!
