2 reasons nettickr.de is my new favorite website

1) Look at the upper left hand corner of the homepage (above). I like running with TechCrunch and ABC News.

2) It's waycool. But why are we not surprised, considering it's the latest brainstorm of Marcus Reimold, whose rapidly expanding Internet empire (numbering, by my count, 14 sites now, including nettickr.de) threatens to overtake and leave in the pixie dust those of Nick Denton (who's so big now he no longer returns my emails — yo, Nick, remember me from way back before you got big?) and Jason Calacanis?

I feel like a pilotfish riding shotgun with a shark — along for the swim and loving every minute of it — each time Marcus generously includes me in his newest venture.
