Babies. Strange little creatures. Eating dinner yesterday with my sister-in-law, she said she was in a check-out line at the grocery a couple days ago, making funny faces at the baby in the buggy ahead of her when the little tyke starts laughing uproariously and uncontrollably -- giggling and bubbling and crazy with it. Laughing, not crying. And people start gathering around to see what the "matter" is. And it made me think that I've never seen a kid kicked out of a movie theater from laughing.

That's all. No point. Just that. Carry on.

Oh, well, speaking of theaters, and such, where people perform music and whatnot, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't drop everything and listen to this 6-or-so minute musical performance of Dmitri Shostakovich himself playing his own Piano Concerto #2 (1st mvmt.) at an insane but totally wonderful tempo. What an incredible performance of a brilliant work.

You wouldn't think it'd be possible to work in a Shostakovich piano concerto thing on a post about baby t-shirts. Shameless.
