Best shoe of Paris Fashion Week

Unveiled last week and shown above, it's Hussein Chalayan's multi-colored knit ankle boot.

clifyt, my nonpareil fashion correspondent whose home base is Indianapolis, Indiana (strange, that, don't you think? I mean, I don't recall many icons of the industry hailing from there), yesterday informed me that Puma last week named Chalayan its creative director, along with purchasing a majority stake in the great designer's business.

Look for bookofjoe to be bagging its signature New Balance and ASICS running gear for some of Puma's new foot limousines in the very near future.

Instructions for doing this have been on several craft logs. I think I saw it on Craft, but Interweave was on it in 2003.
