Not-Apple Calculator

1jhgfujfg

Could've fooled me.

Designed by Ippei Matsumoto.

From the website:

    10-Key Calculator

Inspired by the number pad on a keyboard, this calculator has all the standard features and can easily be connected to a laptop or PC via USB cable connection to add number-pad functionality.

It can also be used independently.

    One LR1130 battery included.

    1"H x 5.5"W x 3.25"D.

    Not MAC compatible.

....................

Say what?

N_kjpiojk

And another thing: What's with calling it a "10-Key Calculator," anyway?

I know my math isn't very good but I'll be darned if both I and each and every member of my crack math team don't end up every time we count the keys with a total of 23.

Go ahead, you try.

$58.

Why does it in bold face type say not mac compatible, yet in the picture it is clearly plugged into a 17" macbook pro?

"10 Key" is one of those terms like "Words Per Minute" that is used when dicussing one's skill at typing. It refers to the ability to touch type numbers on the keypad as opposed to the digits at the top row of the keyboard. For data entry clerks a high 10Key score is often more important than your WPM.

As to why it's "10": As it's data _entry_ thing, the operator keys aren't crucial, and you'll see different configurations of those from keyboard to keyboard. However, every one of those keyboards will configure the ten digit keys the same, having the "7" in the upper left and the "0" occupying at least the space below the "1".
