Pet's Eye View Camera — 'Ever wonder what Fido or Spot does all day when you're not home?'
Who knew your pooch was really a closet Ansel Adams?
Long [lens] story short: You attach it to your pet's collar and it takes pictures with an 8X zoom lens.
From a website:
- Pet's Eye View Camera
Ever wonder what Fido or Spot does all day when you're not home?
Now kids can finally find out with the Pet’s Eye View Camera for ages 6 and up.
Camera attaches easily to a pet’s collar for an up-close-and-personal peek inside your animal’s world.
This compact digital camera is light enough to be comfortable even on cats and smaller dogs.
For a peek inside their pet’s world, just set the self-timer to snap photos at 1-, 5- or 15-minute intervals, then upload them to a computer with the included USB cord.
"Kids?"
Think outside — way outside — the childhood space.

This fellow in Germany built one of these a while back and posted the resulting Catcam photo tours. Both interesting and amusing, makes me want one of these, though I question if the cat would be as delighted. There is also some DIY / hack info for those inclined to modding a keychain digital camera for the task.
