PicLens — 'Full-screen. 3-D. So real you can feel it'
Well, you can but I wouldn't know.
Trapped behind OSX 10.3.9, I can look at the demos and all but, like the Magic Bus, I can't have it.
First really compelling application I've seen that might make me upgrade.
Both J.D. Biersdorfer and John Markoff lauded it in recent days and that's plenty good enough for me.

I've used it, and it's very cool. If you're already looking to upgrade, this is definitely a great reason.
