"Noooodle," from German design studio ding3000, is a nifty device for measuring out perfect pasta portions for one to four people, then serves as a trivet for the hot pot.

I just saw a similar thing the other day... I never knew there was more than one model. So: why?! It's a simple process of trial and error, and after you make pasta 2 or 3 times you'll remember you much you need (about half a fistful for myself).
