Flautist, that's funny because I've often thought if you could duplicate that particular timer you could sell a ton of them! Heck, half of San Francisco would buy one!

All these timers, and things beeping and booping and hollering at you to get up! do THIS now! stop THAT now! I want to scream and yell at some machine and push it around and bully it and give it some deadlines.

This is the kind of timer I'd actually pay attention to (run it up to 1:46) --
