Flexx: 'Dynamic instability — not your ordinary dumb footrest'

What the heck?

It came from Australia.

"Flexx is an articulated leg and foot perch that uses

the principle of dynamic instability to encourage you

to exercise your legs while you are sitting."

See for yourself.

$88 (Australian; $84 USD; £42; €54).

"Dynamic instability" = "it wobbles". Get your ten-year-old to make you a footstool and it'll do the same!

Evidently, the device can do nothing about bad fashion choices.

Wouldn't a partially delflated, medium-sized heavy-duty rubber ball do the same thing and save a bundle? Kind of the same principle that cats use when they do that kneading/acupuncture thing on your leg or belly or wherever there's some squishiness. They (cats) being opportunists second to none, it's wise to just let them figure things out, then adapt their concepts for your personal use, I have discovered.
