LG Decoy — 'First phone in the world with a Bluetooth headset built in'

Jkyfikfyr

Just released this past Monday, June 16.

What an excellent idea.

But wait — there's more.

"The headset is automatically charged on the phone when the phone is being charged."

Now if only you could charge the headset via Bluetooth.

Don't laugh.

Soon come.

But you didn't read it here.

O

$179 at Verizon stores everywhere.

Clever as the LG people are, I have reason to suspect they were not first on the ball on this one. A while back (November 27, 2007 to be precise) while idly surfing the 'nets and tubes, I stumbled on a Chinese cellphone-with-charging-bluetooth-headset that was reportedly for sale in Hong Kong at the time for the equivalent of USD 190:-. The LG people are still the clever guys, though, since they have managed to get their version into Verizon stores, and the Chinese apparently did not.
