Motorized Power Vacuum Marinater — 'Literally opens the pores of foods placed inside!'
Surely they could've put it a bit differently, what?
I mean, opening pores isn't a term commonly bandied about in the kitchen space.
Much more Bioré.
But I digress.
From websites:

Presorvac Marinater
The Presorvac Marinater is a state-of-the-art vacuum seal and cycling system that quickly and automatically boosts the flavor and enhances the texture of beef, poultry, fish, seafood, vegetables and fruits in minutes.
Simply place food and marinade into the generously-sized 12" x 9" oval base, cover with lid and press the fully-automatic one-touch instant-on button to activate.
The cycle begins with the vacuum pump drawing most of the air out of the base to create a perfect seal.
This is followed by the release of the seal to draw air and pressure back into the base.
During the cycling process, the bottom of the base gently expands, stretching the fibers of food to enhance tenderization and full absorption of the marinade.
The cycle repeats automatically for approximately five minutes before shutting off.
In minutes food is superbly marinated and ready to be placed on the grill, under the broiler or in the oven.
Fruits and vegetables are now saturated with flavor and will enhance any salad or dessert.
Eliminating the need to wait hours while marinating, the technologically advanced Presorvac Marinater dramatically speeds up the process with its patented lightweight yet powerful vacuum pump motor integrated into the lid's comfortable easy-grip handle.
A unique docking station on the base of the see-through lid ensures that the motorized lid locks in smoothly.
Features and Benefits:
• Powerful patented vacuum pump and detachable plug adapter (integrated into lid) can be quickly removed for easy cleaning and storage
• Bottom base and lid are dishwasher safe and can be placed in the refrigerator
• Comes with recipe booklet for easy-to-make gourmet marinades

Comments
1) 'Pores'? What the--?
2) You can get the same effect with salt and an acidic base such as vinegar or lemon juice. And you can get a lot of salt for $80.

What's the hurry? A ziplock, same marinade and a couple of hours saves you 80 bucks. Good things come to those who wait.
