"...Two interlocking molded plywood platforms that slide together to form a single bed and apart to create a double bed," wrote Elaine Louie in yesterday's New York Times story.

Winner of the top furniture award in I.D. magazine's annual design review.

Louie continued, Jauslin "... needed a bed small enough to fit in his 9-by-12-foot guest room but big enough for two guests. 'We wanted flexibility. We thought it would be good to have two beds to take the space of one.'"

$3,485 for the bed; the pair of pictured latex foam mattresses are $1,878.
