Hm, it reminds me of a restraint. Which is probably appropriate, with regard to time.
And for some reason it makes me think of that thing that Jodie Foster went to -- Vega, was it? -- in, in "Contact."

Cool but clunky looking. Can't imagine resting my arm on tables and such with this cumbersome thing on. Love how it tells time though.
