Helpful Hints from joeeze: How to permanently engrave your possessions — on the cheap
Don't waste your money on dedicated electric or battery-powered engravers.
Instead, next time you're at the grocery or drug store stop by the school supplies and pick up one of those simple compasses (above) like we had back in elementary school.
Open it wide and voila, there's your engraving point.
Works great to put your name on anything metal and it lasts forever.
Why pay more?
