Ummm not so at all.

Jaman is a legal (http://www.mpaa.org/piracy_LegalOpt.asp) site that licensed these films from the rightsholders.

The free films are ad-supported, and there are tons of HD movie downloads available starting from $1.99.

Full disclosure, I work there !

It's probably like that Russian site that let's you download the same itune songs for 19cents I think. A while back I used to travel to Baku, Azerbaijan. Every time I went, I'd stop by any one of the multiple video stores you could find anywhere in the center of town. The very next day a film had come out in the US, you could buy the movie in Baku. No kidding. If you went and said: Do you have The Dark Night for example, and they didn't have it immediately, they'd say: come back in an hour and sure enough in an hour, there it was. A pristinely packaged DVD copy of the movie. Piracy plain and simple. They probably had stolen masters which they copied in a dingy back room somewhere.
