Lunocet Monofin — Channel your inner Michael Phelps
Way 2 kewl 4 skool — at least, my skool.
This new wave 42-inch-wide carbon fiber monofin creates hydrodynamic lift, nearly doubling maximum underwater speed by moving on a pivot and enabling swimmers for the first time ever to produce as much thrust on the up- as the downstroke.

Hmmm. I'm a diver and I'm trying to imagine what it would be like with one of these. Speed is seldom an issue. You usually go down to explore, to see the sights, not blow past them as quickly as possible. I wonder about maneuverability and about the down side of having a rigid board sticking out on either side.
